The elsewhen musicians

The Elsewhen Orchestra is made up of volunteer musicians who share a passion for breathing life into great music. The musicians include students, passionate amateurs, and professionals from the southern gulf coast area.

Our Conductor

Dr. Wes Dykes is the Dean of the Winter's School of Music and Ministry Studies at William Carey University. He studied conducting under Dr. Fraschillo at the University of Southern Mississippi for his undergrad, and received his Masters in Conducting under Dr. Moody at the University of South Carolina. He received his DMA in instrumental conducting at the University of Southern Mississippi under Dr. Rand. He has conducted many college and church ensembles over the years.
